Nikole Zoumberakis is a senior counsel at Buchalter where she advises clients on a wide range of corporate, partnership and general securities matters with a particular emphasis on fund formation and investment advisor representation. Mrs. Zoumberakis specializes in all aspects of the formation and operation of private equity and real estate funds and their management companies, focusing on issues involving partnerships, limited liability companies, and the Investment Advisers Act.
Prior to joining Buchalter, Mrs. Zoumberakis practiced at Dewey & LeBouef LLP specializing in mergers and acquisitions and served as an extern to the Hon. Kim McLane Wardlaw of the US Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. She holds a BA from the University of California, Berkeley, and a JD from New York University. Mrs. Zoumberakis joined the Ocean Elders board in 2017.
