Sharon Taylor

Sharon Taylor is a Creative Strategist specializing in social media with a varied background spanning PR, editorial, content and influencer partnerships. In her role at Ocean Elders, Sharon delivers social media and communications initiatives.

After spending many years at sea as an officer in the Merchant Navy in the United Kingdom, Sharon developed a deep respect for the ocean and its inhabitants resulting in a lifelong commitment to creating an abundant and sustainable future for our ocean.

She is a Co-Founder & Chief Operations Officer of 32 Degrees South Group, a firm which specializes in bespoke communications solutions, fundraising, events, sponsorship, social media, PR, website and technology solutions.

Sharon is the Marketing Manager for West Tech Fest, a week-long innovation festival in Western Australia. More recently, she managed the communications and marketing channels for the Rotto Tech Fest, a platform for igniting social impact, technology and investment solutions which address the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

Sharon assisted an Australian Senator and effectively contributed to the delivery of best practice communications initiatives, community engagement, and events.

Sharon studied a Bachelor of Business at Edith Cowan University in Perth, Western Australia and has recently returned to study Contemporary Arts in Photo Media. Photography of nature and animals is one of her passions.
